Modello Horse Farm is open since January 2005.
We only have AMHA American miniature horses of the best bloodlines, imported from the USA. We favor extreme quality by chosing exceptional producers for a highly demanding breeding program.
We invite you to discover them on this website, or even more to come and visit them at the farm, situated 25 minutes from Paris, at the outskirts of the domanial forest of Rambouillet.

Why did we choose Modello as a name for our farm? During the Renaissance, the "Modello" was a painting done in a small size, a kind of lay-of a work of art that the painter would later do in full size. Today, the "Modellos" of the greatest painters are much sought after because they have a freedom and perfection in execution rarely acheived in the large size of the final works.

The farm is located at the outskirts of the domanial forest of Rambouillet on a 20 hectare estate.
Half of it is dedicated to pastures for the horses, the other half is woods
